Hoiden 2017 Collection


The Port Elizabeth based Hoiden fashion design label is known for its romantic, bohemian-chic subtlety since its design-duo Marjorie Erasmus and Este van der Merwe launched the brand in 2011. Since the launch, at

​South African Fashion Week, over five years ago, the brand has evolved from casual wear to a sought after bridal party collection. Their 2017 collection is a matured take on classic elegance with bolder colours and bright sequins designs, that will keep you the belle-of-the-ball.

Darling for detail

Hoiden's craftsmanship in their creations has always been evident in their attention to detail, with this collection being now exception. Incorporating their classic lace finishes, the hand-beaded elements add the touch of glamour to these classic looks.

Let it glow

A broader mix of fabric was used, with sequins complimenting otherwise simple patterns. This added sparkle elevates the look from casual to cocktail with a fun sparkle.

Pleating

Hoiden has always used pleating in subtle degrees to add femininity to any look. This collection saw pleating used to accentuate a woman's most flattering features to an even greater degree. From strapless, to off-the-shoulder looks, with each fold in just the right place, making necks appear longer and waists seem smaller.

Bold Colours

Known for their pastel colours and girly pallets, Hoiden took a bolder approach with a range of darker colours that embraced a formal tone.
